Plant Proteomics Department

Our department investigates biochemical processes in model and crop plants. Particularly, we are interested in the proteins which drive these processes. Several of our research projects are related to the plant energy metabolism. One special focus of the department is investigating the functions of plant mitochondria in the context of photosynthesis. Moreover, we are active in developing new methods in the field of protein bioanalytics.
